Mesaba Airlines schedule on track, manager says By Jeff BunnCapital Journal staff PIERRE — A mistake on the part of Mesaba Airlines has some fearing the loss of Delta flights in December. But Mike Isaacs, airport manager, said there is nothing to worry about and the flight schedule will be updated on the Web site. “Delta will have a 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. departure throughout December just like all other months,” he said. “Delta had another glitch in the flight schedule programming. For some unexplained reason, the Watertown to Minneapolis leg of the flight was dropped accidentally. As a result, it shows that there is no flight from Pierre to Minneapolis-St. Paul for the month of December.” Isaacs said December Delta flights can still be booked. He said the mistake should be fixed by Oct. 24. In the meantime, he asked those wanting to book a flight on Delta in December to call 1-800-221-1212. “It’s just an error,” he said. “In a couple of days it should be fixed.” Shortly after the Northwest-Delta merger, ticket prices jumped as high as $900. That problem was resolved and city officials have maintained prices are now competitive with flights in and out of Sioux Falls. |
