PIERRE — An autopsy is planned for Ronald Wham, 65 of Pierre, whose body was found Monday in the Missouri River in Stanley County.
John Luce, Stanley County coroner, declined to say if the death was suspicious. He said he hopes the autopsy report will be complete by the end of the week.
A graveside service for Wham is set for 10 a.m. Nov. 30 at Pringle cemetery. McColley’s Chapels of the Hills is in charge of funeral preparations.
Prior to the discovery of Wham’s body, a missing person’s alert was issued for him. After authorities began looking for Wham, his truck was found at campground No. 3 near the Oahe downstream stilling basin.
