Thune formally introduces bill to end TARP

Sen. John Thune just finished speaking on CSPAN-2 introducing his bill to end the federal Troubled Asset Relief Program, which would direct the $320 billion of unspent TARP money to debt reduction and end further TARP spending.

"We're not going to get it all back, but the one thing we can do is cut our losses," Thune said.

The bill might be voted on as early as Thursday. It'll be very interesting how many Democrats vote for it.
