According to the Curd campaign, Congressional candidate Rep. Blake Curd has raised $144,331.50 for the primary election and $37,050 for the general election.

Secretary of State Chris Nelson, Curd's primary rival, told me all of his $56,239 raised is for the primary election.

Still waiting to hear back from Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin's camp about how her money breaks down.

South Dakota elections such as the gubernatorial race don't follow the primary/general election breakdown that federal elections do.

" @Ignorant: I'll have firmer facts from the Herseth Sandlin campaign tomorrow, but yes, she can raise for the primary. That money is supposed to be spent prior to the date the individual becomes the party nominee — in June, in this case. It doesn't matter if the decision to make a candidate the nominee is contested or not. (In 2004, for example, Pres. Bush raised "primary" funds he spent until the Republican convention.) "
