Former South Dakota Republican U.S. Senate candidate Annette Bosworth, who has been charged with 12 counts of election law violations, lost her lawyer Monday.
Brandon Taliaferro, whom Bosworth hired as her defense lawyer in late June, originally filed his motion to withdraw as counsel July 17. That motion was granted in a hearing late Monday afternoon after Sixth Circuit Judge John Brown said the relationship between Taliaferro and Bosworth had broken down.
