Professional fishing guides who see what their clients are reeling in from Lake Oahe have mixed feelings about a plan to increase the walleye limit on the lake starting Jan. 1.

Under the proposal for 2013, the daily limit for the lake would be doubled, allowing anglers eight walleyes per day, four of which could be 15 inches or longer. The possession limit for Lake Oahe would be raised to 24 if the rule changes are finalized as proposed.
