Jack Merwin, 77 of Pierre died Monday, Aug. 30 at the Golden Living Center in Pierre. Services are 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at the Isburg Funeral Chapel with burial at Riverside Cemetery.

Joseph Salem, 81, of Butterfield, Minn., died Aug. 22, 2010 at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato. His interment was at Butterfield on Aug. 26, 2010.

Jim Eldridge, 66 of Fort Pierre, died Thursday, Aug. 26 at St. Mary’s Hospital after a courageous two battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31 at the Isburg Funeral Chapel with a Masonic/Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1 at the Fort Pierre Congregational Church with burial at the Scotty Philip Cemetery

Visitation will be held from 5-6:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 27, 2010 at Faith Lutheran Church in Pierre, concluding with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at Faith Lutheran Church in Pierre with interment following at Scotty Philip Cemetery in Fort Pierre.
