Volunteers high, resource use low in central SD economic programs

Central South Dakota communities are relying on volunteers and not fully utilizing some state resources when it comes to economic development, according to a recent survey.

The survey, carried out by the Central South Dakota Enhancement District with some input from the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, was sent to 182 public and private entities across 13 counties in the center region of the state.
