Kennedy Smith, Etiwanda girls basketball: Smith had 30 points, 13 rebounds, 6 steals, and 4 blocks to help the Eagles beat Archbishop Mitty 69-67 in the CIF State Open Division championship game.
McKinley Willardson, Santiago (Corona) girls basketball: Willardson had 21 points and 10 rebounds in Friday's state championship loss to Oakland Tech.
Jacqueline Polk, Los Osos girls basketball: Polk, a freshman, had 30 points to lead Los Osos to the CIF State Division 3 championship against Colfax.
Yalee Schwartz, Shalhevet girls basketball: Schwartz had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Firehawks past San Domenico in the Division 5 state title.
Arielle Grossman, Shalhevet girls basketball: Grossman also had a double-double for the Firehawks, finishing with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Rylee Bradley, Marina girls basketball: Bradley had 23 points and five rebounds in Saturday's state championship loss to Bret Harte.
Jason Crowe Jr., Lynwood boys basketball: Crowe Jr. scored 36 points in the CIF State Division 5 championship game, finishing his freshman season with a California record 1,295 points.
Caleb Foster, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame boys basketball: Foster, a Duke-signee, scored 33 points while adding six rebounds and six assists to take down Granada in the Division 1 state championship.
Mikah Ballew, Valencia (Valencia) boys basketball: Ballew had 25 points and five assists to lead the Vikings past Half Moon Bay in the CIF Division 4 State championship.
Bryce Bedgood, Valencia (Valencia) boys basketball: Bedgood had 22 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks in Valencia's state championship win.
Trent Perry, Harvard-Westlake boys basketball: Perry had 16 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds to lead the Wolverines to the CIF State Open Division championship on Saturday night.
Jacob Huggins, Harvard-Westlake boys basketball: Huggins had 15 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday's win.
Kailer Bachman, Burroughs baseball: Bachman went 5-8 last week with a home run, double and five runs batted in.
Garvey Rumary, El Dorado baseball: Rumary got on base in seven of nine plate appearances last week, hitting a home run and driving in three runs.
Sterling Patick, South Hills baseball: Patick tossed a complete game shutout, striking out 10 batters against Gahr last week.
Ricardo Ojeda, Valencia (Valencia) baseball: Ojeda threw a one-hitter against Saugus last week, striking out 19 batters.
Trevor Hansen, Royal baseball: Hansen tossed his second straight no-hitter, stirking out 14 batters in last week's win over Oak Park.
Makenzie Butt, Fountain Valley softball: Butt crushed five home runs last week including three home runs in a two-game stretch on Saturday.
Ella Parker, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame softball: Parker had seven hits including three home runs to lead the Knights to a 3-0 record last week.
Mia Valbuena, Marina softball: Valbuena threw a one-hitter while striking out 13 batters in Saturday's 7-0 win against Deer Valley.
