SNAXLP 17281 2tdly 9/5, 9/13 NOTICE OF HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners, Hughes County, will hold a Public Hearing at 5:40 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019, in the Commission Room on the second floor of the Hughes County Courthouse at 104 East Capitol Avenue for the purpose of considering the following petition to vacate: Petition to vacate a part of the County road known as Chesley Road located in the East Half of Section 25, Township 111N, Range 77W, Canning Township, Hughes County, South Dakota. The petition seeks to vacate and abandon as a public highway that portion of Chesley Road beginning approximately 660 feet south of the intersection with 206th Street, between a rural residential approach at 20616 Chesley Road and the bridge over Medicine Knoll Creek (approximately 140 feet north of bridge), thence generally south approximately 4,540 feet to the southern boundary of Section 25, Township 111N, Range 77W. This road is not located on a section line. The Hearing is open to all interested parties. Copies of the petition and map are available in the Commission Office in the Courthouse at 104 E Capitol Ave., Pierre, SD 57501. If special accommodations are necessary, please notify the County Auditor at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the day of the meeting. Written comments can be sent to: Hughes County Commission, 104 East Capitol Ave., Pierre, SD 57501. By Order of the Board of Hughes County Commissioners. Dated this 3rd day of September, 2019.
