The Stanley County Buffaloes volleyball team hosted the Todd County Falcons and Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves in a triangular at Parkview Gymnasium in Fort Pierre on Saturday. The Buffs won both matches.

The Buffs defeated the Falcons, 3-0. Set scores were 25-9, 25-23 and 25-9. Sophomore Cadence Hand had nine kills and 12 digs, while senior Carlie O’Conner had seven kills, 11 digs and four aces. Junior Olivia Chase had 18 assists and 11 digs, while junior Kori Gabriel had four aces.

The Buffs defeated the Braves, 3-1. Set scores were 25-20, 23-25, 25-16 and 25-10. Senior Carlie O’Conner had 17 kills and 15 digs, while sophomore Cadence Hand had 10 kills. Senior Taylee Stroup had 19 digs, while senior Shaylee Tople had 14 digs and five aces. Junior Olivia Chase had 29 assists, 15 digs and five aces.

The Buffs (11-8) will host the Sully Buttes Chargers (7-17) on Tuesday at Parkview Gymnasium in Fort Pierre. Games are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. CT.
