The Oahe Capitals Pee Wee B team hosted a pair of games at the Oahe Expo Center this weekend. They played the Rushmore Thunder on Saturday, and the Brandon Valley Ice Cats on Sunday.

The Capitals won their game against the Thunder 6-0. Ian Schweitzer had a hat trick with three goals scored, while Raegan Pfeifer scored a pair of goals. The Caps outshot the Thunder 33-7. The Caps also had three penalties, while the Thunder had one penalty.

Sunday’s game saw the Capitals win 17-2. They scored five goals in the first period, seven goals in the second period, and five goals in the third period. Pfeifer, Landry Vanroekel and Gavin Wedin each had three goals. Jett Kirschenmann and Kallee Behm each had two goals. The Caps held a 47-9 shot on goal advantage. Both teams had three penalties each.

The Caps Pee Wee B team (2-0) will next see action against the Huron All-Stars (0-3) on Sunday in Huron. Puck drop is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. CT.
