The Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors girls tennis team competed in a quadrangular at Griffin Park in Pierre on Tuesday. The Govs won two of their three matchups.

The Govs defeated the Aberdeen Roncalli Cavaliers 9-0, but they lost to the Rapid City Christian Comets 5-4. Match results for either dual could not be found. The Govs defeated the Rapid City Central Cobblers 9-0. The most games won in a set by the Cobblers was five. The Govs took control over the Cobblers by shutting them out in four matches.

The Govs will next see action at the Huron Quadrangular at the Huron Tennis Courts on Saturday. They will face the Brookings Bobcats at 9 a.m. CT, the Watertown Arrows at 11:30 a.m. CT, and the Huron Tigers at 2 p.m. CT.
