The Pierre Wildcats Special Olympics bowling team held a bowling party at Lariat Lanes in Pierre on Friday afternoon. Awards and medals were given to those that earned them. Food was provided by Pizza Ranch.

Pierre T.F. Riggs student Vick Becker was named a Friend of the Pierre Wildcats. Abby Farris and Lucas Borgheiinck were named participants in the Pierre Wildcats bowling program. Pierre Wildcats who placed first in bowling singles were Keith Boardman, Tyler Boardman, David Haskell, Zachary Lemburg, Colton Miles, Charlene Pfeifer, Ezekiel Schafer and Sammy Voegele. Second place finishers in bowling singles include Ray Goldade, Deb Haberer, Jasmine McRell, Katey Peschl, Robby Robinson and Reed Westcott. Jamie Budmayr placed second in ramp assisted singles. Pierre Wildcats who placed third in bowling singles are Kimberly Barrett, Levon Bolte, David Gascoigne, Jeff Gascoigne, Brett Heibel, Violet Petersen, Jennie Ryckman, Anthony Steely and Grady Theobald.

The Pierre Wildcats will now turn their attention to basketball, cheerleading and skills season.
